One thing God can do is give you an idea. Once he gives you the idea, he gives you the desire to follow through with the vision. We are waiting on breakthroughs and miracles to happen, but it all begins inside of you. His word says He can do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think according to the power that works IN us (Ephesians 3:20). The miracle comes when you do what he told you to do. If you get nothing else, you get an idea and a desire. The idea should produce something in you, some motivation, some inspiration; that’s the seed. The fruit can’t come until you do your part. We expect this major blessing when God is waiting for you to get a minor plan together. It goes step by step. (Faith to Faith, Romans 1:17). He only reveals as you go along. All he gives you is an idea. Would you like to be married? Well, how can you be married if you never go on a date? How can you find out what you like and dislike if you never date someone to determine your non-negotiables? Would you like to own a business? Well, when will you sit down to draft the plan? Would you like to own a home? Have you looked at the requirements to begin the process? Sometimes we over-spiritualize things when it all could be a simple act of making a move.
God can’t give you any more information if you don’t start with the idea he gave you.
If you don’t do your part, you can’t get your part. There is money for you. There is a partner for you. There is a group just for you, but God can’t give you any extra or reveal anything new until you do your part. There is so much more to you, but you can’t get the rest until you start where you are. Do not despise the day of small beginnings (Zechariah 4:10).
